Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mario Martini!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monkey takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Monkey throws a hook but Martini blocks it.
Monkey throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Martini.
Martini shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Monkey but Monkey pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Martini ducks under a wild hook from Monkey.
Monkey misses with the combination.
Monkey misses with a jab, cross combination.
Martini scores with a shot to the body.
Monkey connects with a body shot.
Monkey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Monkey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Martini fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Monkey avoids it really well and circles away.
Martini throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Monkey misses with a body shot.
Martini shoots in but no luck this time.
Vinicius Monkey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mario Martini.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Monkey moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Monkey cracks Martini with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Monkey has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Martini to stand back up!

Martini is rocked!

It looks like Mario Martini has been cut.
Martini looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Monkey fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Martini is still on wobbly legs! Can Monkey finish him?
Martini is trying desperately to land a takedown but Monkey is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Martini.
Monkey throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Martini.
Monkey misses with a looping right.
Martini loses concentration momentarily and Monkey pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Martini crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Monkey finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
