Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Genku Kage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyron Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kage's entrance music is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjlgUx7_aN0. A fine choice. Genku Kage had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Genku Kage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyron Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kage throws an overhand right that lands on Gracie's shoulder, as Gracie tries to avoid the shot.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kage napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Gracie trying to control the action but Kage is working from the bottom.
Kage is letting Gracie control him for a moment.
Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kage has escaped the position, nice work there.
Gracie tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kage seems a little lost for a moment, as Gracie dominates the positioning.
Gracie trying to control the position but Kage is working away.
Gracie controls the position.
Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kage is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Gracie tries to move to mount but Kage blocks the move with his legs.
Gracie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Gracie looks gassed!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kage, who protects the arm well.
Kage is trying to escape the position but Gracie is controlling the position.
Kage wants to get back to his feet but Gracie drags him back down.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kage keeps working.
Kage wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Kage prevents Gracie from improving position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gracie avoids the head kick by Kage.
Kage throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.
Kage takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses.
Kage clobbers Gracie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kage connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Gracie blocks a head kick by Kage.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kage missing with a left hand there. Gracie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kage pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gracie defending well as Kage loads up on a big left hand.
Kage lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Gracie gets a takedown into half guard.
Gracie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kage is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
Gracie is working for a submission of some sort.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyron Gracie dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A slow jab from Kage misses its intended target.
Kage throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.
Gracie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kage swings for the body but Gracie moves out of range.
Genku Kage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kage is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Gracie trying to control but Kage is working from the bottom.
Gracie looking to sit in guard and control but Kage gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kage wants to get up but he can't break Gracie's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Kage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kage defends well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Kage got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kage has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.

Kage wanted to stand there but Gracie had control of the position.

Gracie is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Kage has his hands clasped together but Gracie extends an breaks Kage's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gracie.
