Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between normal guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and punch master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, normal guy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, punch master!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
master throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
master throws a right hand that guy ducks under and follows up with a left that guy also avoids with ease.

master gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
master tries to land a sweep but no joy.
guy trying to control but master is working from the bottom.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
guy works over master's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like punch master has been cut.

guy moves into the clinch successfully.

master swings wildly with an uppercut but guy uses good head movement to avoid it.

guy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
master moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

master throws a series of punches but guy avoids them all with ease.

master changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. guy tries to avoid it but master manages to keep hold of a leg and drag guy to the ground. guy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

guy misses with the combination.

master drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and guy counters with a big head kick but master shrugs it off.

guy tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and master is able to avoid easily.

guy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
master misses with a series of wild punches.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for normal guy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

master lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but guy circles away quickly and effectively.
normal guy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

I would just about give that final round to punch master.
