The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sav has closed the distance and engaged master in a clinch.

Sav pulls guard effortlessly.
master wants to stand but Sav is controlling his posture from full guard.
Sav trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Sav has his foot on master's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. master works his way back into a safe position though.

Sav throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! master escapes and throws Sav's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Sav is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Sav is working hard here to advance position.

master wants to control but Sav is keeping him busy.
Sav is looking for a sweep.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Sav takes the fight into the clinch.
Sav wants a takedown.
master is trying to force a seperation but Sav has the dominant position.
Sav is trying to work for a single leg takedown but master pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Sav is breathing heavily.
master is trying to maintain a safe position but Sav gets an underhook and turns master into the ropes.
Sav fails to pull the fight into his guard.

master is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.

Sav manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

master shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sav manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

master is posturing up here but Sav has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! master tries to roll out but it's too tight and master has to tap! Slick submission there by Sav!
