Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sento Karushiyaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chulo Valasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karushiyaki kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Drake- Over. Sento Karushiyaki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Karushiyaki does no damage.
Nice takedown defense from Karushiyaki. No joy for Valasquez on that attempt.
Valasquez fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Valasquez has a takedown stuffed.
Sento Karushiyaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chulo Valasquez.
Valasquez is looking to clinch.
Valasquez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Karushiyaki swivels and escapes.
Valasquez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Valasquez shoots in but Karushiyaki avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Karushiyaki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Horrible takedown by Valasquez or perhaps it was just good defense by Karushiyaki which made him look bad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Karushiyaki throws a leg kick but Valasquez sees it coming and moves out of range.
Karushiyaki scores with a nice right hand.

Karushiyaki drops Valasquez with a right and a left! Karushiyaki comes rushing in but Valasquez regains his composure and manages to keep Karushiyaki in guard.

It looks like Chulo Valasquez has been cut.
Valasquez looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karushiyaki keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Valasquez's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Karushiyaki is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Valasquez is rocked!
Karushiyaki gets to his feet and stands over Valasquez, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Valasquez felt that one! Karushiyaki unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Valasquez from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sento Karushiyaki!
