The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubber fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ivo misses with an uppercut. Rubber saw that one coming.
Ivo jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Ivo shoots in and bounces Rubber off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ivo wants to stand but Rubber has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Rubber is trying to control the position but Ivo postures up.
Ivo is looking to stand up but Rubber won't let him.
Ivo wants to stand and escape but instead Rubber has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rubber wants to control from the top but Ivo keeps moving.
Ivo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rubber. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rubber stops Ivo from standing up.
Ivo is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Ivo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Ivo is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ivo wants to stand up. He gets to his feet but Rubber has locked on to a leg, he rolls the pair back to the ground and cranks on Ivo's ankle. The pair roll once more but Rubber really cranks it and Ivo is forced to tap! Great counter grappling from Rubber!
