Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Starr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Bastich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bastich is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Watcher. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Big Bastich!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bastich closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Starr to the mat! Starr manages to get full guard.
Bastich wants to control from the top but Starr keeps moving.

Starr had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bastich defends it easily.
Bastich wants to stand but Starr has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Starr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bastich gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bastich accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Starr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bastich can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bastich is in close to Starr's body, working some short punches and elbows.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bastich accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Starr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bastich doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Starr is tightening it up a little... Bastich has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bastich reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bastich taps out! nice BJJ there by Starr!
