The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ryan tries to avoid it but Romanov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ryan to the ground. Ryan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ryan moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Romanov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ryan to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Ryan postures up in Romanov's guard and throws a big left but Romanov blocks it.
