Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crazy Bastard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Durham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bastard might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to soul survivor. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastard scores with a takedown into Durham's guard.

Durham escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bastard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bastard wants to pass the guard but Durham is keeping the position.
Durham is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bastard is aware though and is defending well.
Bastard throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Durham works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Durham is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Despite being in the dominant position, James Durham just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bastard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Durham defends it nicely.

That's time! Bastard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Durham closes the distance and pushes Bastard back into the cage.

Durham is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bastard defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Bastard is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bastard is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Durham couldn't care less - he's delighted!
