Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Abdul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Carter checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Carter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Abdul looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Abdul is looking to regain half guard here but Carter keeps moving and retains side control.

Carter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Abdul, who protects the arm well.
Abdul can't do much from the bottom here.
Carter controls the position.
Carter tries to move into full mount but can't pass Abdul's legs.
Abdul is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Abdul manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Abdul kicks Carter off and gets to his feet.
Abdul throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Carter sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Carter tries to clinch but Abdul is having none of it.

Abdul shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Abdul thows a huge punch but Carter dodges it nicely.

Abdul is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Carter doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Abdul.
Abdul seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Carter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Carter tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Abdul passes the guard and advances to mount!

Abdul takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Carter is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Abdul is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Carter to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Carter shrugs it off.

You can see the frustration on Carter's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Carter wants to escape the position.
Carter looks gassed!
Carter covers up after that shot from Abdul.
Abdul will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Abdul changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carter tries to avoid it but Abdul manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carter to the ground. Carter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Abdul won't let Carter get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Abdul cracks Carter with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Carter tries to improve his position but Abdul has taken his back! Abdul has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Carter tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Abdul pushes Carter away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
