Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Makua Koa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Koa does no damage.
Koa fails to land the takedown.
Koa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Powers moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Powers doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Koa counters with a straight right hand.
Powers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Koa tries to clinch there but Powers circles away.
A punch combination from Koa misses.
Powers will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Powers tries for a takedown but Koa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Makua Koa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Powers.

Powers closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Koa is breathing heavily.
Powers content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Powers tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Powers has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Powers is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Koa has escaped the position, nice work there.
A lull in the action here.
Koa is not content to let Powers control the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Powers in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Koa is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
