Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mari Ore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Aux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ore shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Aux keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Ore seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Ore is looking to stall here but Aux recovers full guard.

Ore wants to get up but he can't break Aux's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Ore moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Ore looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Aux is fending him off so far but Ore persists. Nope, Aux circles away and we're back to standing.

Ore misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Aux really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Ore wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Aux, who protects the arm well.
Ore wants to control but Aux is keeping him busy.
Aux avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Ore.

Ben Aux showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Aux clinches up with Ore and pushes him back against the cage.
Aux goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ore prevents it.

Aux gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Aux postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ore is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Aux, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ore passes Aux's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Ore wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aux keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ore is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Aux is just riding it out for now. Ore eventually gives up the hold.
Ore stalling away here and it's allowed Aux to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Aux counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ore won't be happy with that.

Aux goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ore has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Aux but great work by Ore.

Ore is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Aux is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ore swings around for an armbar but Aux sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ore's guard.

Aux is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ore is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ore has escaped and now he's on top!

Well Aux has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
