Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damon Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wells's choice of entrance music: Muse - Supermassive Black Hole. Damon Hall had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Wells!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Wells dives in and grabs Hall's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hall pushes down on Wells's head and hops out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wells closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hall to the mat! Hall manages to get full guard.

Wells is trying to hold Hall in close to prevent damage but Hall has managed to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hall has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wells is proving hard to escape from.

Wells stalks Hall and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hall's face. Hall staggers backwards, shaken.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

Well Wells has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
