The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Clowsley goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Clowsley shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. silva is trying to defend but Clowsley finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
silva is trying to get back to full guard.
Clowsley is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
silva wants to improve his position but Clowsley is controlling well.
silva is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
