Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
PAIN decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
PAIN is taking a breather. McGuire says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
PAIN really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGuire. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
PAIN stands up and beckons McGuire to join him on the feet.
PAIN drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
PAIN tries to stand but McGuire is controlling from the bottom.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McGuire is on top in guard.
McGuire looking to pass the guard.
McGuire drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McGuire jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

McGuire is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

PAIN looking to hit a scissor sweep but McGuire is one step ahead there.
PAIN working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McGuire doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McGuire manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
McGuire works a leg free and moves into half guard.
McGuire is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McGuire is breathing heavily.
McGuire wants to work for an arm triangle but PAIN is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
McGuire wants to pass to mount but PAIN is defending the position.
PAIN keeps control of the position for the meantime.
McGuire seems to be working for a kimura but PAIN defends the submission attempt.
McGuire is thwarting PAIN's attempts to control the position.
McGuire is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so PAIN is just riding it out for now. McGuire eventually gives up the hold.

PAIN tries to roll over but McGuire keeps him under control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
McGuire avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A nice inside leg kick there by PAIN. That's going to slow McGuire down.
McGuire shoots and misses
and PAIN counters with a single leg into guard. McGuire didn't expect that.
McGuire lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for PAIN!
McGuire looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

McGuire looking to secure an arm triangle but PAIN defends it well.
PAIN tries to hold on but McGuire pushes him away.
McGuire with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
McGuire will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
PAIN keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
MAX PAIN dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
McGuire fails with the takedown
and PAIN counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by PAIN.
McGuire looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
McGuire isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. PAIN stacks McGuire on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by PAIN!
McGuire tries to improve position but can't.
PAIN works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McGuire sneaks back into half guard.
PAIN is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
PAIN looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

McGuire actively working from the bottom here.
McGuire is trying to get back to full guard.
PAIN works his way into full mount!
PAIN wants to control the pace but McGuire is squirming around nicely.
McGuire is trying to escape the mount.
McGuire manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
McGuire is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of PAIN's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take PAIN's back!
PAIN is trying to break free.
McGuire has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. PAIN is defending well but eventually McGuire manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! PAIN has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
