Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snow comes to the cage accompanied by WishMaster. Anderson has chosen Were Not Gonna Fall as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Snow as he jumps to the side.
Anderson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Snow is fending him off so far but Anderson persists. Nope, Snow circles away and we're back to standing.
Snow connects with a high kick.
A solid body kick from Snow.

Snow clinches.
Snow lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Snow scores with a shot to the side of Anderson's head.

Snow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Snow is looking to clinch.
Snow tries to clinch up but Anderson circles away and keeps his distance.
No joy there for Snow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
John Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anderson fails to land the takedown.
John Snow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Anderson.
Snow circles away from the clinch attempt

and Snow counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Anderson tries to break the clinch but Snow is controlling the position.

Snow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Snow wants to clinch.
Snow lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Anderson looks gassed!
Snow closes the distance looking to clinch

and Anderson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Anderson.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Anderson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Snow avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Snow not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Snow wants to sweep here but Anderson controlling him for the moment.
Anderson looking to pass the guard.
Snow is striking off his back. Anderson thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Anderson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Anderson not landing any meaningful shots this time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Snow gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Anderson wants to get back to full guard.
Snow stops Anderson from getting back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Snow is looking to advance position but Anderson won't allow it.
Snow knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anderson on the ground.
Anderson striking from the bottom.
Anderson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Anderson kicks off Snow and gets to his feet.
Snow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Snow gets a clinch.
Anderson can't break the clinch.

Anderson manages to pull guard.
Anderson looking for a sweep. Not yet Anderson, not yet.

Anderson wriggles free and stands up.
Anderson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fight stays on the outside here - Snow looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Snow wants to clinch

and Anderson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Anderson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Snow smiles and moves away.

and Anderson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Anderson managing to block the knees to the body from Snow.

Snow breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Snow forces Anderson back against the cage and clinches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Snow dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Snow pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Anderson lands a right hook to the body.
Anderson fails to land the takedown.
Anderson darts in trying to clinch
and Snow counters with a left and a right that stings Anderson.
Anderson looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Snow as he jumps to the side.
John Snow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Anderson.
Snow avoids a kick to the body.
Snow buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Anderson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
John Snow is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Snow throws a head kick but Anderson moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Anderson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Snow has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Anderson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Snow lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Anderson manages to pull guard.
Anderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Snow is one step ahead there.
Snow in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Snow is posturing up here but Anderson has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Snow tries to roll out but it's too tight and Snow has to tap! Slick submission there by Anderson!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Josh Anderson!
