PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Fields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kingston comes to the cage accompanied by What You Know?. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Fields!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingston shoots in for a takedown but Fields shows good takedown defense.
Kingston misses with a takedown attempt - Fields sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Kingston.
Fields can't do much from the bottom here.
Fields sneaks back into half guard.
Kingston blocks the strikes from Fields.
Kingston winds up and cracks Fields with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Fields fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kingston, pushing him back against the cage.
Kingston has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fields avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Fields shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Fields shoots in and bounces Kingston off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
