The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demoss looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Demoss darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Troy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Demoss's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Demoss's back!
Demoss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Troy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Demoss is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Troy off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Troy has the hooks in. Demoss is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Demoss really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Troy's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.
Troy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
I really don't envy Demoss right now.
