The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leon throws a shot from downtown. Tatum moves away and avoids it.
Leon looks to land a left hand but Tatum moved out of range nicely.
Leon just misses with a punch to the body.

Tatum drops Leon with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Leon looks back up at him and smiles so Tatum waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Mata Leon has been cut.
Drederick Tatum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tatum tries to bum rush Leon with a series of wild strikes but Leon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Leon slips under a jab.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Leon checks a leg kick.
Leon lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Leon thows a body shot but no joy.
Tatum scoring well with a low kick there.
Leon looks to score with a jab to the body but Tatum is just out of range.
Leon checks the leg kick.
Tatum drops Leon with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Leon! Tatum dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
