Takanaka comes to the ring accompanied by Bleach - Dead Blood. Boneham has chosen Push It To The Limit as his entrance music. Hirohidi Takanaka has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takanaka escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boneham gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Boneham has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Takanaka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boneham shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Takanaka pinned against the cage. Takanaka gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Takanaka has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Boneham has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Boneham throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Takanaka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
