Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Red Velouer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Filho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velouer comes into the arena with Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become blaring out of the sound system. Paulo Filho has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velouer misses with a series of wild punches.
Horrible takedown by Filho or perhaps it was just good defense by Velouer which made him look bad.
Filho avoids a punch combination nicely.
Velouer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Velouer with a jab.

Velouer has closed the distance and engaged Filho in a clinch.
Filho tries to score a body lock takedown but Velouer shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Filho turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Filho thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
You can see the frustration on Velouer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Velouer manages to get back to half guard.

Filho is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Filho looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Velouer is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Filho's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Filho's back!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Velouer tries to keep control of the position but Filho is staying busy.

Velouer is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Filho defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Filho drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Velouer dives on top into guard.

Velouer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Filho swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Velouer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Filho knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Velouer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Filho manages to work his way to half guard, despite Velouer's best efforts.

Filho can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Velouer controls the pace.
Velouer has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Filho takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Velouer tries to clinch but Filho is having none of it.
Velouer fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Filho counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Velouer's guard now.
Paulo Filho has got the better of the ground game so far.

Velouer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Filho defends it easily.

Filho is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Velouer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Filho.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Filho maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Velouer could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Filho has cracked it and Velouer is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Filho!
