Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hatt Mughes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dave Muldoon!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mughes slaps away a takedown attempt from Muldoon, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mughes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Muldoon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Mughes paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Muldoon wants to clinch.
Muldoon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mughes is fending him off so far but Muldoon persists. Nope, Mughes circles away and we're back to standing.
Muldoon moves in looking to clinch but Mughes pushes him off.
Mughes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Muldoon wants to stand but Mughes is controlling the position.
Mughes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Muldoon is keeping the position for now.
Muldoon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Muldoon keeping full guard, as Mughes tries to pass.
Mughes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Mughes stopping the sweep attempt from Muldoon.
Mughes trying to control the position from guard on top but Muldoon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Muldoon with a poor takedown
and Mughes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Muldoon's guard.
Hatt Mughes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Muldoon.

Mughes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mughes tries to free his leg and advance position but Muldoon is retaining full guard.
Muldoon keeping moving, preventing Mughes from controlling successfully.
Muldoon preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Muldoon clinches but Mughes breaks the clinch
and Mughes counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Muldoon wants to stand back up but Mughes manages to pass into side control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Mughes looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Muldoon struggling a bit here.
Mughes in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Muldoon is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
