Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Liam O Brien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tot Tim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Brien comes into the arena with "Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya" by Dropkick Murphys blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tim smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A left and a right from Tim both land. Nice combination.
O Brien avoids a punch combination nicely.
O Brien shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tim but Tim pushes him off and we're back to square one.
O Brien has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tim finds it's way round the side to connect with O Brien's head.
Tim throws a body kick that misses.
Tim avoids the head kick by O Brien.
A nice combination there by Tim.
O Brien throws a looping overhand right but Tim ducks down to avoid it.
O Brien tries to close the distance and clinch but Tim swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
O Brien fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
O Brien looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Liam O Brien. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tim lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tim.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

O Brien seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Tim shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! O Brien is backing up but Tim catches him with a final right hook that drops him! O Brien covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Tim Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
