Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jared Krantar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Brody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krantar's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lil Wayne - Lollipop. Brody is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "That Girl" by Iron Maiden. Jimmy Brody has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krantar moves into the clinch.

Brody moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Brody is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Krantar defends it well.

It looks like Jared Krantar has been cut.
Brody closes the distance and clinches up with Krantar, looking for a takedown. Brody pushes Krantar against the cage but Krantar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Jared Krantar will probably get the nod.

Brody misses with a head kick.

Krantar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brody, pushing him back against the cage.
Krantar drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Brody gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Krantar has clasped his hands together around Brody's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Brody can't do much from the bottom here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Krantar swings around for an armbar but Brody sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Krantar's guard.

Brody is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Krantar is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Krantar has escaped and now he's on top!

Krantar trying to control but Brody is working from the bottom.
Brody not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Brody bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Krantar's guard.

Brody won't allow Krantar to sweep him here.

Brody drops back looking for a leg! Krantar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Krantar manages to kick Brody off! Brody jumps back into Krantar's guard.
Brody has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Krantar is proving hard to escape from.
Krantar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Krantar seems keen to control Brody's posture.
Krantar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
