Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, matt hughes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dick Tracey!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from hughes.
Tracey connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Tracey keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
hughes shoots for a double leg takedown but Tracey sprawls well. He's pushed hughes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for matt hughes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tracey throws a nice looking combination but hughes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tracey lands a jab to hughes's midsection.
Tracey lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
hughes misses with a combination
enabling Tracey to counter with a crisp jab.
Tracey rushes hughes and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
hughes tries to pull guard but Tracey won't allow it.
Tracey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tracey is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
hughes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
hughes takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
hughes avoids the body shot from Tracey.
Tracey lands a nice hook to hughes's body. hughes takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
hughes is breathing heavily.
Tracey scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
hughes on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
hughes seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Tracey shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! hughes is backing up but Tracey catches him with a final right hook that drops him! hughes covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Tracey Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dick Tracey!
