Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Fedoreem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and brock lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). brock lesnar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedoreem lands a nice shot to the body.
Fedoreem swings and misses with a hook to the body.
lesnar wants to clinch.
lesnar shoots in and drives through. Fedoreem sprawls well.
lesnar should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fedoreem motions for lesnar to come forward. Fedoreem throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

lesnar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fedoreem sprawls well initially but lesnar persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fedoreem is trying to stand back up but lesnar is controlling him
lesnar working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Fedoreem shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Fedoreem wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
lesnar is trying to stand up here but Fedoreem is controlling him well.
Fedoreem wants to stand but lesnar has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if lesnar can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fedoreem tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Fedoreem throws a front kick aimed at lesnar's knee but lesnar avoids it well.
lesnar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Alistair Fedoreem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of brock lesnar.

Fedoreem closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fedoreem lands in his opponent's guard.
Fedoreem postures up in lesnar's guard and throws a big left but lesnar blocks it.
Fedoreem tries to stand but lesnar is controlling from the bottom.
Fedoreem trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Fedoreem has closed the distance and engaged lesnar in a clinch.

Fedoreem is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A body shot lands from Fedoreem.
lesnar keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Fedoreem's efforts to push away.

Fedoreem breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Fedoreem moves into range and clinches up with lesnar.

Fedoreem manages to break the clinch.

Fedoreem throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. lesnar was covering up waiting for the punch and Fedoreem finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fedoreem stays in close to lesnar's body and controls the position.
lesnar preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Fedoreem wanted to stand there but lesnar had control of the position.
Fedoreem postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Fedoreem scores with a one two! lesnar had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like brock lesnar has been cut.
lesnar takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fedoreem looks to land a combination but lesnar avoids it well.
lesnar keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Fedoreem's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fedoreem lands a jab to lesnar's midsection.
Fedoreem tries for a takedown but lesnar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fedoreem lands with a nice combination. lesnar backs away looking to recover.
Fedoreem tries to score with a low kick but lesnar moves his leg out of the way.
Alistair Fedoreem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fedoreem throws a sloppy head kick and lesnar moves out of range easily.
Fedoreem lands a right hook to the body.

Fedoreem shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Fedoreem here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
lesnar is breathing heavily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fedoreem cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

brock lesnar's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at brock lesnar's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
