Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bison Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angry BlackGuy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

BlackGuy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Boy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
BlackGuy in the domination position with Boy hanging on.
You can see the frustration on Boy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Boy wants to get back to his feet but BlackGuy drags him back down.
Boy wants to control but BlackGuy postures up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Boy in particular looking to stall.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boy wants to stand up but BlackGuy has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Boy is keen to just control but BlackGuy is a slippery customer.
Boy stops BlackGuy from getting back to his feet.

Boy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts BlackGuy as he jumps to the side.

BlackGuy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

BlackGuy wants a takedown.
Boy is pressed up against the cage. BlackGuy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Boy down to the mat. Boy avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Bison Boy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Angry BlackGuy.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

BlackGuy takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

and Boy counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for BlackGuy!
BlackGuy is squirming around, avoiding Boy's attempts to control the action.

Boy with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

BlackGuy keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
BlackGuy tries to lock up and control but Boy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Boy jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… BlackGuy is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by BlackGuy and Boy has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
BlackGuy takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Boy gets to mount! BlackGuy was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Boy wants to control the pace but BlackGuy is squirming around nicely.
BlackGuy is looking to improve his position but Boy isn't that keen on the idea.

Boy tries to control but BlackGuy wriggling away.
Boy looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Boy lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
BlackGuy has given up his back.
BlackGuy staying busy and making it hard for Boy to control.

Boy has the hooks in. BlackGuy is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Boy is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Boy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down BlackGuy for as long as he can get away with.

Bison Boy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Boy just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

BlackGuy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Boy postures up and lands a big shot to BlackGuy's brow.
BlackGuy wants to stand and escape but Boy is having none of it.
Boy slips nicely into half guard.

Boy stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Boy is in close to BlackGuy's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Boy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Boy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed BlackGuy's guard.

Boy tries to pass the half guard into mount. BlackGuy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Boy decides to stand back up. Boy steps back and let's BlackGuy get back to his feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Boy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
