Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Swishel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Azamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swishel's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Thunderstruck. Joshua Azamora is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swishel gets a clinch.
Azamora tries to circle away but Swishel has him pinned against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Swishel.

Swishel has Azamora pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Swishel pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Azamora tumbling to the mat - Swishel dives into Azamora's guard.

Swishel has gone for a leg lock! Azamora slips out almost immediately though and dives into Swishel's guard.

Swishel had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Azamora defends it easily.

Azamora wants to get up but he can't break Swishel's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Azamora got a little sloppy there for a moment and Swishel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Azamora has managed to get both his arms back between Swishel's legs - danger averted.
Swishel is breathing heavily.

Azamora stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Swishel tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Azamora counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Swishel closes the distance but Azamora moves to the side
letting Azamora counter with a right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Azamora counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Azamora cracks Swishel with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Azamora scores with a body shot.
Swishel uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Azamora.
Azamora tries to close the distance and clinch up but Swishel swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Azamora lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Azamora lands a slapping body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Azamora misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pete Swishel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Azamora connects with a good right hand that stumbles Swishel. Swishel circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Nice straight punches there by Azamora. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Azamora.

Swishel takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Azamora scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Azamora dips to his left and cracks Swishel with an uppercut!

Jeez, Pete Swishel's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
