Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between RJ McLovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Bean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McLovin comes to the ring accompanied by Nas - Hero Instrumental. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Bean!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLovin throws a leg kick which misses Bean's front leg but catches the back leg as Bean tries to avoid it.
Bean looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
McLovin jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
McLovin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bean on the side of the head.
McLovin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Bean chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McLovin can pounce on him.
McLovin lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Bean fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
McLovin scoring well with a low kick there.
McLovin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A right-left combo lands from McLovin.
McLovin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bean. That did some damage!

McLovin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

McLovin takes a little break here. Bean wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

McLovin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Bean takes a body punch but keeps moving.
McLovin lands a lovely overhand right.
McLovin moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
McLovin scores with a decent looking hook.

McLovin clinches up with Bean and pushes him back against the ropes.

McLovin has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bean regains guard immediately.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McLovin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
McLovin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bean for as long as he can get away with.

Bean avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
McLovin content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
McLovin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McLovin is pushing down on Bean's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bean is fighting to maintain full guard but McLovin has managed to sneak the leg through.
McLovin is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Bean shoots and misses
and McLovin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
RJ McLovin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McLovin clobbers Bean with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

McLovin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bean has time to react.

McLovin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bean knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bean is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
McLovin is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

McLovin is taking a breather. Bean says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McLovin lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Bean takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

McLovin stalks Bean and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bean's face. Bean staggers backwards, shaken.
McLovin is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

McLovin is pushing Bean up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
