Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Dos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mack the knife. The crowd seem to be enjoying Souza's choice of entrance music: Momma Said Knock You Out. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Silva scores with a takedown into Souza's guard.
Silva wants to control from the top but Souza keeps moving.

Souza has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.
Souza is striking but Silva is not phased and passes to half guard.
Souza wants to improve his position but Silva is controlling well.
Silva tries to stand and escape but Souza is controlling the position.
Souza tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control.
Souza makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Souza.

Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Souza on the ground.

Silva avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Souza is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Souza keeping moving, preventing Silva from controlling successfully.
Silva postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Silva is working Souza over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Silva wants to stand but Souza is controlling his posture from full guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Silva has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Silva is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Souza bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silva's guard.

Souza tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard.

Silva pushes Souza off and gets back to his feet.
Silva circles away from the clinch attempt.

Silva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Silva thows a big elbow that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sam Dos Silva dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Silva lands a head kick!
Souza has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Souza is rocked!
Souza shoots in but no luck this time.
Souza fails in his attempt to clinch.
Souza tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A thudding body kick lands there by Silva!
Souza walks into a straight right hand from Silva.
Souza is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?
Souza throws a right and a left that both miss.
Souza seems to have recovered his senses.
Silva throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Souza colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Silva as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Souza is left battered and dazed whilst Silva and his camp cheer!
