PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Houdini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Szewczyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Houdini might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Concrete Jungle by Black Label Society. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Houdini drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Szewczyk parries the strikes from Houdini easily there. Houdini is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Szewczyk to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Szewczyk. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
