Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cain Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe OBrien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell misses with a takedown attempt - OBrien sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
OBrien lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Liddell throws a head kick but OBrien moves out of range.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cain Liddell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Liddell scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
OBrien dodges the ground and pound from Liddell.
OBrien is looking for a sweep.
Liddell is looking to take a break and control but OBrien is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Liddell looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
OBrien is pushing Liddell's head away, looking to escape. Liddell manages to hold on to the position though.

Liddell lands some shots froms side control.
OBrien tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Liddell wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Liddell misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
OBrien tries to escape but Liddell is in control.
Liddell happy to just control the position for now.
The ground and pound from Liddell seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Liddell is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
OBrien stuffs the takedown attempt from Liddell. Liddell gets slowly back to his feet.
OBrien misses with a wild combination.
Liddell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and OBrien counters with a crisp one two that drops Liddell! OBrien thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Liddell to his feet! Liddell is in big trouble!

Liddell is rocked!

OBrien stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and OBrien wants it to stay on the feet.
Oh Liddell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
OBrien misses with an uppercut. Liddell saw that one coming.
Liddell seems to have got his legs back now.

OBrien cracks Liddell with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Liddell looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can OBrien finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and OBrien counters with a huge right that knocks Liddell out cold! OBrien is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
