The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Tyler with that takedown attempt.

Zilic shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tyler manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Tyler escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zilic gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Zilic wants to stand up but Tyler is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tyler is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Zilic pulls his head out easily.
Zilic throws a strike but Tyler avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Zilic has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tyler is proving hard to escape from.

Tyler regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Zilic.

Zilic stands up from Tyler's guard - Zilic perhaps looking for a knockout.

and Tyler counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Zilic's guard now.

Tyler thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Zilic is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tyler is aware though and is defending well.

Tyler has gone for a leg lock! Zilic slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tyler's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tyler is on top in guard.

Tyler thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Jake Tyler overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Zilic is breathing heavily.

Zilic decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Tyler uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zilic.

Tyler is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Zilic's half guard.

Tyler is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Zilic is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
