PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Figueroa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gene Mean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Figueroa's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bring It Back Remix by Jae Millz feat. Fabolous , Jadakiss and Lil' Wayne. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mean throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Figueroa was covering up waiting for the punch and Mean finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Figueroa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mean doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mean manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Mean is in close to Figueroa's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Figueroa can't keep his opponent in guard - Mean advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Mean throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Mean thows a huge punch but Figueroa dodges it nicely.
Mean sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Figueroa defending well though.
Mean frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

It looks like Marco Figueroa has been cut.
Mean working away from the top, dropping strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A nice elbow there by Mean.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Figueroa tries to reverse the position but Mean maintains control.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mean cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
