Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between georges Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaun Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rush comes to the cage accompanied by Gsp´s Entrance. Greene has chosen Highway to Hell as his entrance music. Shaun Greene is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, georges Rush!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shaun Greene!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene keeps Rush at a distance using the push kick.
Rush shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice takedown defense from Greene. No joy for Rush on that attempt.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Rush takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Rush takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Greene turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Greene delivers a nice body kick.
Greene lands with a straight right. Rush didn't see that one coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rush has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Greene uses from the top position.

Rush is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Greene can't fight it off and eventually Rush manages to take the fight to the floor. Greene looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Greene wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Rush's closed guard. He's half up but Rush has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Rush pivots and extends the arm, Greene falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Rush! Well done that man!
