Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veli Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferreira comes to the cage accompanied by Drop the World. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira just misses with a punch to the body.
Schwarzeneg walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Schwarzeneg moves away from the strike by Ferreira.

Schwarzeneg shoots for a double leg takedown but Ferreira sprawls well. He's pushed Schwarzeneg's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Schwarzeneg throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ferreira was covering up waiting for the punch and Schwarzeneg finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Schwarzeneg shoots in looking for a takedown. Ferreira tries to sprawl out of it but Schwarzeneg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ferreira manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Mauricio Ferreira overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ferreira stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Schwarzeneg swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ferreira has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Schwarzeneg is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ferreira yanks on the arm and Schwarzeneg is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ferreira.
