Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Slade Tynin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tynin misses with an uppercut.
Watson misses with a head kick.

Tynin gets caught flat footed, as Watson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Tynin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Watson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tynin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Watson's back instead.

Tynin has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Watson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Tynin is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Watson defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Watson wants to get back to his feet.
Tynin keeps control of the position as Watson tries to break free.
Tynin doesn't have the hooks in and Watson manages to turn into his guard.
Watson pushes down on Tynin's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Watson is trying to control the action in half guard but Tynin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Tynin could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Watson wants to pass to mount but Tynin is defending the position.

Watson winds up and cracks Tynin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Tynin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Tynin is trying to get back to full guard.

Watson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Tynin flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Tynin is pressing down on Watson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Watson connects with a couple of short punches.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Watson throws a right hand that Tynin ducks under and follows up with a left that Tynin also avoids with ease.

and Watson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Tynin wants to improve his position but instead Watson has moved into half guard.

Watson is posturing up here but Tynin has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Watson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Watson has to tap! Slick submission there by Tynin!
