Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jasse Pesonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanner Bildt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bildt is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Get Buck in Here. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pesonen tries to clinch but Bildt moves out of range.
Pesonen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bildt swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pesonen tries a low kick but Bildt avoids it.
Pesonen misses with a leg kick.
Pesonen moves in looking to clinch but Bildt pushes him off.

Pesonen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bildt fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Bildt drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pesonen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pesonen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pesonen!

Pesonen goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bildt rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Pesonen's guard! Nice work there by Bildt!

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A head kick misses from Pesonen.
Bildt closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bildt has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Pesonen is trying to keep an underhook but Bildt manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Pesonen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bildt pulls his head out easily.
Bildt passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Pesonen!
Bildt takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Bildt moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Pesonen has worked his arm free - good work by Pesonen!
Pesonen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bildt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Pesonen wants to control but Bildt postures up.
Pesonen tries to buck Bildt off but Bildt is having none of it.
Bildt is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pesonen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bildt tries to advance to mount but Pesonen instead regains half guard.
Bildt is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Bildtis looking to pass into half guard but Pesonen pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Pesonen is in guard.

Pesonen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Pesonen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bildt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pesonen has managed to get both his arms back between Bildt's legs - danger averted.

Bildt is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Pesonen has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Pesonen!

and Bildt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Bildt counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pesonen won't be happy with that.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jasse Pesonen.
Well Bildt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
