Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jonny Grove!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grove tries to clinch there but Parslow circles away.
Parslow tries to bum rush Grove with a series of wild strikes but Grove uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Grove wants to clinch.
Grove tries to clinch but Parslow is having none of it.
Parslow drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Parslow wants to stand but Grove has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parslow is looking to work some ground and pound but Grove has wrist control.
Parslow stands and steps away. Grove gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Grove wants to clinch up but Parslow keeps it at a distance.
Grove tries to close the distance and clinch but Parslow swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Parslow drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Parslow stands up and beckons Grove to his feet.

Grove tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Parslow just stands there and leans against the cage.

Parslow manages to break the clinch.
Grove shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Parslow counter with a right hand.
Jonny Grove seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Parslow decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Grove's guard.

Grove drops back looking for a leg! Parslow is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Parslow manages to kick Grove off! Grove jumps back into Parslow's guard.

and Parslow counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Parslow decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Parslow might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Grove kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Parslow has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Scott Parslow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Grove has closed the distance and engaged Parslow in a clinch.
Grove connects with a nasty looking knee right to Parslow's face.
Parslow on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Grove is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Parslow has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Grove regains guard immediately.
Parslow has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Grove is proving hard to escape from.

Grove controls Parslow momentarily but Parslow frees himself.
Parslow wants to stand and escape but instead Grove has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Grove is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Grove drops back looking for a leg! Parslow is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Parslow manages to kick Grove off! Grove jumps back into Parslow's guard.
Grove pushes down on Parslow's leg and manages to get into half guard.
