Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Duncan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freida Felcher!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Felcher defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Duncan.
Duncan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Felcher as he jumps to the side.
Duncan looks for a takedown but Felcher sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Duncan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Felcher looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Felcher punishes Duncan's body with a nice straight punch.
Felcher throws a head kick that Duncan semi-blocks.
Duncan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Felcher circles away.

Felcher shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Duncan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Felcher pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Felcher slows the pace down in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Felcher is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Duncan is just riding it out for now. Felcher eventually gives up the hold.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Felcher connects with a nice short shot to Duncan's temple.
Duncan is looking to improve his position.

Felcher stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Duncan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Felcher counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

A slapping leg kick lands for Felcher.
A solid leg kick lands there for Felcher.
Duncan takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Felcher throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Duncan's head.
Duncan shoots and misses
and Felcher counters with a low kick, right behind Duncan 's knee.

Felcher rushes Duncan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Felcher crunches a lovely knee into Duncan's ribcage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Felcher breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Felcher chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Felcher has managed to clinch.
Duncan takes a knee to the side of the body.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Felcher obliges.

Felcher's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Felcher gets a takedown into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Felcher decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Felcher feints and then cracks Duncan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Duncan down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Freida Felcher dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Duncan dodges the punch combination from Felcher.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Duncan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Felcher just stands there and leans against the cage.

and Felcher counters with a slapping leg kick.

Felcher wants to pass to mount but Duncan is defending the position.
Felcher content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Felcher.
Duncan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Felcher counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Duncan is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Felcher counters with an inside leg kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Felcher lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!


It looks like David Duncan has been cut.
Duncan takes a knee to the side of the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Duncan. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Felcher closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Well Felcher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
