Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Prince (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prince comes to the cage accompanied by The Fresh Prince. Carter has chosen Oh Lets Do it as his entrance music. Julian Carter looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prince tries to clinch but Carter moves out of range.

Carter has hold of one of Prince's legs. Prince is fighting the takedown attempt but Carter gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Prince wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Prince's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Prince has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Prince is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Carter knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Prince lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
