The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage lands a body shot.
Savage tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but DeLarge was well out of range. Poor timing from Savage.
DeLarge shoots in but no luck this time.
DeLarge is looking to clinch but Savage is avoiding it.
Savage connects with the punch.

It looks like Travis DeLarge has been cut.
Savage throws a hook to the side of DeLarge's head but DeLarge sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
DeLarge tries to clinch but Savage is having none of it.
DeLarge tries to clinch there but Savage circles away.
Savage stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Savage connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between DeLarge's hands.
DeLarge steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Savage.
Savage connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed DeLarge momentarily.

DeLarge is breathing heavily.
DeLarge takes a shot right to the bread basket.
DeLarge ducks right into an uppercut from Savage.

Savage sends DeLarge crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Savage is motioning to the referee to let DeLarge up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Savage lands a straight punch to the body, keeping DeLarge at a distance.
Travis DeLarge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Savage tests DeLarge's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Savage cracks DeLarge with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! DeLarge looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Savage finish him?

Travis DeLarge's cut is getting worse.
Savage drops DeLarge with a straight right hand, right on the button! Savage follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
