Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Whitley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom Green is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tom Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Whitley!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green shoots in for a takedown but Whitley shows good takedown defense.
Whitley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Green shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Whitley but Whitley pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Whitley instigates a clinch.

Green tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Whitley just stands there and leans against the cage.

Whitley turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Whitley manages to end up in side control.

Whitley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Green did well to prevent Whitley getting side control.

Whitley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Green napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Whitley tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Whitley has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Whitley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Green. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Green is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Whitley pulls his head out easily.

Whitley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Whitley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Whitley is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Green defends well.

Green jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Whitley walks away with a smile on his face. Green gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Green wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Whitley.

Whitley is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Green has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Green tries to hold on but Whitley pushes him away.
Whitley takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Whitley has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Green is working away from the top position though.
Whitley keeps control of the position for the meantime.

I would just about give that final round to Mike Whitley.
Well Whitley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
