The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloodedge defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Naciamento.
Naciamento tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bloodedge swivels and escapes.
Naciamento fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xervian Naciamento. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Naciamento dives in and grabs Bloodedge's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bloodedge pushes down on Naciamento's head and hops out.
Bloodedge slaps away a takedown attempt from Naciamento, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Naciamento shoots in for a takedown but Bloodedge shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bloodedge tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bloodedge keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Naciamento is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Naciamento avoids the head kick by Bloodedge.
Bloodedge leaves Naciamento with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Naciamento walks into a jab.

It looks like Xervian Naciamento has been cut.
