The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Demons shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lopez is trying is best to control the position here.

Lopez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Demons pulls his head out easily.
Lopez tries to get to full guard but Demons has control of the leg.
Demons wants to control but Lopez is keeping him busy.
Lopez has his hands clasped together around Demons's back. He's all about the action.
Demons is looking to take a break and control but Lopez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lopez has his takedown stuffed

and Demons counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lopez!
Demons throws some wild stikes that Lopez manages to avoid easily.
Demons thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Lopez avoids a strike by Demons and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Demons's guard! Fantastic escape!
Demons trying to keep a closed guard but Lopez is proving a slippery customer.

Lopez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Demons manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lopez has Demons in his guard.

Demons looking to improve position, pressing down on Lopez's thigh with his hand. Lopez seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Demons paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Demons's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Lopez picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
