Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson comes to the cage accompanied by Rage against the machine- Killing in the name. Sam Robinson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Randy Savage!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Savage shoots in looking for a takedown. Robinson tries to sprawl out of it but Savage keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Robinson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Robinson has his takedown stuffed

and Savage holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Savage working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Robinson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Savage gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Savage leaning against his opponent.

Savage looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Robinson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Savage gets underhooks to prevent Robinson's takedown attempt.

Savage turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Robinson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Robinson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Robinson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Savage connects with a decent elbow.
Savage scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Robinson to see if he's OK.

Savage is chipping away with strikes.
Robinson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Savage on the ground.
Savage blocks the strikes from Robinson.

Savage has an Americana. Robinson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Savage is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Savage hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
