The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to de liver by Abdellaoui. Beautiful body shot.
Abdellaoui misses with a few strikes there.
Abdellaoui throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Burns has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Burns there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Nathan Burns has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A jab-cross combination lands for Abdellaoui and sends Burns crashing to the mat! Abdellaoui follows him down to the mat - Burns regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Burns manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Abdellaoui manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Burns is looking to take a break and control but Abdellaoui is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Burns ducks straight into an uppercut from Abdellaoui and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Burns manages to regain guard straight away.

Abdellaoui throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Burns stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Burns takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Burns takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Farid Abdellaoui seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Abdellaoui lands with a right that hurts Burns. Burns looks to clinch but Abdellaoui throws a short knee that drops Burns. This one is all over!
