Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between ben cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Londre Laudinum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). cook comes into the arena with last man blaring out of the sound system. ben cook has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laudinum shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
cook shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Laudinum defends it nicely.
Laudinum misses with a wild combination.
cook looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Laudinum misses with a low kick.
cook closes the distance and clinches up with Laudinum, looking for a takedown. cook pushes Laudinum against the cage but Laudinum circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for ben cook. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Laudinum lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Laudinum moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

It looks like ben cook has been cut.
Laudinum throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

cook shoots in for a double leg but Laudinum sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Laudinum swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Laudinum lands a nice looking body shot.
cook is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
cook tries to score a power double leg takedown but Laudinum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten cook somewhat.
Horrible takedown by cook or perhaps it was just good defense by Laudinum which made him look bad.

Laudinum drops cook with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but cook looks back up at him and smiles so Laudinum waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Laudinum throws a low kick but cook avoids it.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! cook crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Laudinum - the referee stops the clock and cook gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Laudinum. cook manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
cook shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Laudinum thuds his shin into the meat of cook's side.
cook moves forwards but Laudinum connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Laudinum wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Laudinum throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Londre Laudinum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Laudinum feints and then cracks cook's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow cook down.
cook checks a low kick from Laudinum.
Laudinum fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops cook to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! cook looks to clinch but Laudinum throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! cook taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
