Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Daddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Davis coming out on top.

Davis clinches.
Daddy tries to score a body lock takedown but Davis shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Davis is trying to maintain a safe position but Daddy gets an underhook and turns Davis into the ropes.
Davis's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Daddy tries to pull guard but Davis holds him up against the ropes and eventually Daddy drops back down to his feet.
Davis misses with a short punch on the inside.
Daddy is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Davis is keeping busy.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Davis can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Dave Davis.
Davis throws the left hand but Daddy avoids the punch easily.
Davis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Daddy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Davis tries to clinch but Daddy moves out of range.
Davis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Daddy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Daddy takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Davis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Davis throws out a powerful jab.
Davis tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Daddy shoots in looking for a takedown. Davis tries to sprawl out of it but Daddy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Davis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dave Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big Daddy.
Daddy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A jab from Davis finds it's way through Daddy's defenses.
Daddy takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Daddy looks gassed!

Davis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davis is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Davis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Daddy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Daddy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Daddy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Davis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Daddy wants to stand and escape but instead Davis has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Daddy should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Davis wants to get up but he can't break Daddy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Daddy wants to stand but Davis is controlling the position.
Daddy controls Davis momentarily but Davis frees himself.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Davis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Davis looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Davis is working Daddy over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Davis postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Daddy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Davis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Davis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Davis throws a nice looking combination but Daddy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Daddy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Davis has his foot on Daddy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Daddy works his way back into a safe position though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
The crowd cheers as Davis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Daddy doesn't seem phased though.
Daddy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Davis avoids it really well and circles away.

Daddy drops his hands momentarily and Davis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Davis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Daddy moves away.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Daddy is on top in guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Davis wants to take a breather but Daddy is having none of it.
