Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liner misses the shot to the body.
Liner scores with a nice strike.
Stafjard avoids the body shot from Liner.
Stafjard is trying hard to land a takedown here. Liner sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Liner lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Stafjard takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Liner lands a jab to the head.
Stafjard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Liner as he jumps to the side.
Liner works Stafjard's body with a nice hook.
Liner throws a sloppy head kick and Stafjard moves out of range easily.
Stafjard dives in and grabs Liner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Liner pushes down on Stafjard's head and hops out.
Steven Liner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JanOle Stafjard.
Stafjard decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Liner wants to improve his position but Stafjard is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Liner gets back to full guard.
Liner tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stafjard postures up.
Stafjardis looking to pass into half guard but Liner pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Liner is in guard.
Liner trying to control the position from guard on top but Stafjard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Liner distracts Stafjard with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Liner with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Liner working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Stafjard's head.
Liner postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Liner tries to free his leg and advance position but Stafjard is retaining full guard.
Stafjard has his feet on Liner's thighs here. He's pushed Liner off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Liner screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
